I’ve never done any hunting (the animal kind y’know) and don’t plan on doing it ever, but, what makes me love Bobby in this scene is the fact that I’m apparently the only kid who never cried when Bambi’s mum was shot and killed.
I was already very deep into the mindset that a kid needs to be an orphan to make a good story, sort of.
Or maybe I just wasn’t moved at all. There you go, the only ever underemotional reaction I’ve ever had - and I can share that unsentimentality with Bobby Singer.
And if I have to start saying “shared” instead, I’mma fucking hit someone.
